DESCRIPTION
Learn more about the Triton Heated Towel Rail
Considered, functional and elegantly understated, the Triton Heated Towel Rail from Rutland London combines contemporary proportions with the enduring quality of handcrafted brass. Its generous arrangement of heated rails provides practical space for warming and drying towels while maintaining a clean architectural appearance suited to a wide variety of luxury bathroom interiors.
Each Triton Heated Towel Rail is handmade to order at Rutland London's family-owned factory in Hampshire, England, using a combination of high-quality 32mm and 25mm diameter DZR brass tube. Discreet brass wall cups provide secure fixing while maintaining the simplicity of the design, reflecting the emphasis on material quality, skilled craftsmanship and longevity found throughout Rutland London's bathroom and heating collections.
The Triton's combination of different tube diameters creates a carefully balanced framework. More substantial sections provide structure to the design, while the slimmer horizontal rails create practical positions for hanging, warming and drying towels without introducing unnecessary visual weight.
Without a separate column or cast iron radiator insert, the Triton celebrates the inherent beauty of its DZR brass tubular construction. The selected handcrafted finish extends consistently across the visible framework, allowing the heated towel rail to coordinate naturally with basin taps, showers, mirrors, bathroom accessories and other Rutland London brassware specified throughout the bathroom.
Despite the warmer climate of Dubai, the UAE and wider Middle East, a heated towel rail remains both a practical and luxurious addition to a carefully considered bathroom. Extensive use of air conditioning can create noticeably cooler interior environments, making warm towels particularly enjoyable after bathing or showering. Regular operation can also help towels dry more effectively between uses, providing a useful everyday benefit even where conventional room heating is rarely required.
For many UAE projects, the Triton can be specified as a standalone electric heated towel rail. This allows the product to operate independently whenever required without needing connection to a central heating or hot water system, making electric operation particularly practical for luxury villas, apartments, private residences and hotels throughout Dubai and the wider Middle East.
Where suitable plumbing infrastructure is available, the Triton can alternatively be connected to a central heating system or suitable hot water system, providing additional flexibility according to the requirements of the individual project.
For installations requiring convenient year-round operation, the Triton can also be specified in a dual fuel configuration, combining a suitable plumbed connection with an electric heating element. This allows the heated towel rail to operate electrically and independently when the principal central heating or hot water system is not in use.
The Triton's clean proportions and discreet wall-mounted construction make it particularly versatile within contemporary bathroom schemes. Against marble, natural stone, polished plaster, decorative tiles or bespoke cabinetry, the brass framework introduces warmth and material richness while retaining an understated architectural character.
For luxury villas, private residences, hotels and interior design projects throughout Dubai, the wider UAE and Middle East, the Triton provides an elegant alternative to conventional heated towel rails. Its combination of handmade English construction, 32mm and 25mm DZR brass tube, practical towel capacity and flexible heating configurations makes it particularly appropriate for bathrooms where functionality, craftsmanship and contemporary design are equally important.
The Triton Heated Towel Rail is available to purchase online in Polished (Unlacquered) Brass. As a living finish, Polished (Unlacquered) Brass will naturally age and develop a distinctive patina over time, with the rate and extent of this change dependent upon the environment in which the product is installed.
The Triton can also be produced across Rutland London's portfolio of 40+ handcrafted finishes, spanning Brass, Bronze, Nickel, Copper and Gold. This extensive selection allows the heated towel rail to coordinate with the wider brassware and bathroom accessories specified throughout the interior.
For alternative handcrafted finishes or assistance specifying the appropriate electric, central heating, hot water or dual fuel Triton Heated Towel Rail for a luxury bathroom project in Dubai, the UAE or wider Middle East, please contact our colleagues at
sales@rutlandlondon.ae.

Popular brassware finishes from Rutland London include variations of Brass, Bronze, Nickel, Copper & Gold.
In addition to our comprehensive portfolio of brassware finishes, this product is also available in an array of painted finishes including colours from Farrow & Ball, Little Greene and Paint & Paper Library amongst others.
It should be noted that many brassware finishes from Rutland London are "living" finishes which will age and patina. The rate and extent of this patination will depend on the environment in which the product is installed and should be expected. Patination of a product finish is not considered a warranty issue. If you seek further clarification of the appearance and behaviour of a finish we recommend purchasing a sample from Rutland London.
