Combining the clean architectural appearance of a wall hung toilet with striking Black vitreous china and a beautifully crafted brass flush plate, the Wilmington Black Wall Hung WC Suite from Rutland London provides a distinctive solution for luxury bathroom interiors. With the WC pan elevated above the finished floor and the cistern and supporting frame concealed within the wall, the Wilmington achieves a refined appearance while allowing the decorative flush plate to become an important feature of the bathroom.

Crafted in England from high-quality vitreous china and complemented by carefully manufactured brass componentry, the Wilmington reflects the material quality and attention to detail found throughout Rutland London's collection of luxury bathroom fittings. The rich Black ceramic creates a dramatic foundation for the design, providing a particularly effective contrast with the selected handcrafted metal finish.

The defining feature of the Wilmington is its wall hung configuration, with the WC pan supported independently above the finished floor. Concealing the cistern, supporting structure and associated plumbing creates a clean architectural treatment while leaving the floor beneath the WC unobstructed, helping to maintain a greater sense of space within the bathroom.

The Wilmington is configured around a Geberit concealed cistern and supporting frame, providing the concealed infrastructure required for the wall hung installation. The cistern is operated through a coordinating brass flush plate, transforming an otherwise functional component into an integral part of the bathroom's decorative brassware specification.

Hand-finished to coordinate with other visible metalwork throughout the bathroom, the brass flush plate can create a considered relationship with basin taps, showers, heated towel rails, mirrors and bathroom accessories. Against the Black vitreous china, the selected finish becomes particularly prominent and allows striking combinations to be created across Brass, Bronze, Nickel, Copper and Gold tones.

To complement the Black ceramic, the Wilmington can be specified with a selection of handcrafted English toilet seats according to the material palette and aesthetic requirements of the project. Options include English Oak, Mahogany, Cambridge White and Metropolitan Black, providing considerable scope to create either a contrasting or more tonal appearance. Each toilet seat is completed with a substantial brass bar hinge coordinated with the selected brassware finish.

The combination of traditional ceramic proportions, contemporary wall hung installation and decorative brass flush plate makes the Wilmington particularly versatile. While many black wall hung toilets adopt an overtly contemporary aesthetic, the Wilmington provides the clean architectural benefits of a wall mounted WC while retaining the material richness and timeless detailing characteristic of Rutland London's wider bathroom collection.

For luxury villas, private residences, hotels and interior design projects throughout Dubai, the wider UAE and Middle East, the Wilmington provides a distinctive wall hung WC solution particularly suited to bathrooms incorporating richly veined marble, natural stone, dark timber, bespoke joinery and extensively coordinated brassware.

The Wilmington Black Wall Hung WC Suite is available to purchase online with its visible brass components finished in Polished (Unlacquered) Brass. As a living finish, Polished (Unlacquered) Brass will naturally age and develop a distinctive patina over time, with the rate and extent of this change dependent upon the environment in which the WC suite is installed.

The visible brass components of the Wilmington can also be produced across Rutland London's portfolio of 40+ handcrafted finishes, spanning Brass, Bronze, Nickel, Copper and Gold. This extensive selection allows the flush plate, toilet seat hinge and wider bathroom brassware to share a consistent and carefully considered finish.
