Combining distinctive Black Ceramic detailing with the refined appearance of a concealed shower system, the Thornton Black Ceramic Lever & Cleaver Concealed Shower Set from Rutland London provides a sophisticated two-outlet shower arrangement for luxury bathroom interiors. Bringing together an overhead shower rose and separate Cleaver hand shower, the Thornton offers excellent versatility within a clean and carefully considered installation.

Manufactured from high-quality brass before being carefully prepared and finished by skilled craftsmen in England, the Thornton brings together precision-engineered components from across Rutland London's collection of luxury shower brassware. The contrast between Black Ceramic detailing and beautifully hand-finished metalwork gives the complete arrangement a distinctive character while retaining the timeless design language associated with traditional bathroom fittings.

At the centre of the Thornton is the Chesterton Two Outlet Black Ceramic Lever Concealed Shower Valve, distinguished by its Black Ceramic controls, central crosshead handwheel and carefully proportioned brass surround. With the principal valve mechanism concealed within the wall, only the decorative controls remain visible, creating an elegant installation against marble, natural stone or decorative tiling.

The overhead shower is supported by Rutland London's Bristol 380mm Fixed Wall Arm, providing a generous projection from the finished wall. A shower rose can then be selected in the client's preferred style and size, allowing the appearance and proportions of the overhead shower to be tailored to the individual bathroom and wider interior scheme.

The second outlet serves the Cleaver Black Ceramic Handle Handset, accompanied by Rutland London's 1500mm Alma Shower Hose and integrated Wall Outlet Parking Bracket. The ergonomic Black Ceramic handle complements the detailing of the Chesterton valve, while the integrated wall fitting combines the water outlet and handset support within a neat and coordinated arrangement.

Unlike a slide rail configuration, the Wall Outlet Parking Bracket allows the Cleaver handset to be positioned discreetly at a fixed location within the shower space. This creates a particularly clean wall arrangement while retaining the flexibility and convenience of a separate hand shower.

Together, these components form a sophisticated two outlet concealed shower system, combining the generous showering experience of an overhead rose with the convenience of a separate hand shower. Concealing the principal plumbing components also allows natural marble, decorative stone and luxury tiling to remain visually prominent, with the Black Ceramic and hand-finished brass components providing carefully considered points of contrast.

The Thornton is intended for installation on high-pressure plumbing systems operating at 1.0 bar and above. Water pressure, plumbing configuration and suitability for the proposed installation should therefore be confirmed by the project's plumbing professional prior to specification and installation.

Each Thornton is finished to order, and every shower valve undergoes thorough wet and dry testing prior to despatch to ensure it meets Rutland London's own standards before leaving the factory.

For luxury villas, private residences, hotels and interior design projects throughout Dubai, the wider UAE and Middle East, the Thornton provides an elegant concealed shower solution where overhead and hand shower functionality are required within a clean, traditionally detailed installation.

The Thornton can be specified across Rutland London's portfolio of 40+ handcrafted finishes, spanning Brass, Bronze, Nickel, Copper and Gold. The Black Ceramic detailing provides a distinctive contrast across these finishes, while allowing the complete shower set to coordinate with basin taps, bath fittings, mirrors, heated towel rails and other visible metalwork throughout the bathroom.

The Thornton Black Ceramic Lever & Cleaver Concealed Shower Set is available to purchase online in Polished (Unlacquered) Brass. As a living finish, Polished (Unlacquered) Brass will naturally age and develop a distinctive patina over time, with the rate and extent of this change dependent upon the environment in which the shower is installed.
