DESCRIPTION

Learn more about the Gloucester Vanity Suite (Inc. Marble Top, Upstand & 2no Basins)

The Gloucester Vanity Suite from Rutland London is an elegantly proportioned luxury bathroom vanity designed for more generous interior spaces. Combining substantial painted cabinetry with natural marble, a porcelain basin and beautifully detailed brass elements, the Gloucester creates a sophisticated focal point for principal bathrooms and individually designed luxury interiors.

Each Gloucester Vanity Suite is handmade in England using a substantial solid wood frame, reflecting the traditional craftsmanship and quality of materials synonymous with Rutland London. Its generously proportioned cabinetry is complemented by carefully considered brass detailing and an elegant solid brass plinth, creating a distinctive contrast between painted timber and hand-finished metalwork.

A defining characteristic of the Gloucester is its elegant twin-tone drawer design. Different colours can be specified across the cabinetry to create either a subtle tonal variation or a more distinctive contrast, while the brass plinth can be finished independently to coordinate with taps, showers and other visible brassware throughout the bathroom.

The Gloucester is supplied with a luxurious natural marble top, coordinating marble upstand and elegant porcelain basin. The individual veining and tonal variation inherent within natural stone ensures that every vanity possesses its own distinctive character, while the combination of painted solid wood, marble and handcrafted brass creates a rich material palette particularly suited to sophisticated residential interiors.

Painted elements are finished using a durable aerospace-grade matt paint coating, providing excellent resilience whilst retaining a refined appearance. Alongside our selected standard colours, the Gloucester can be specified in alternative gloss or satin finishes, together with bespoke colours and close matches to leading paint brands including Farrow & Ball, Little Greene and Paint & Paper Library.

Its generous proportions and extensive scope for personalisation make the Gloucester particularly well suited to principal bathrooms, luxury villas and high-end residential projects throughout the UAE and wider Middle East. Cabinetry colours, natural marble and brass detailing can each be individually considered, providing architects and interior designers with considerable freedom to coordinate the vanity with the wider materials and colour palette of a project.

The Gloucester Vanity Suite is offered online with its brass elements specified in Polished (Unlacquered) Brass. As a living finish, Polished (Unlacquered) Brass will naturally age and develop a distinctive patina over time. The rate and extent of this natural patination will depend upon the environment in which the vanity is installed.

For bespoke projects, the brass detailing and solid brass plinth can also be specified in Rutland London's extensive portfolio of handcrafted Brass, Bronze, Nickel, Copper and Gold finishes. Combined with the choice of cabinetry colour and natural marble, this allows the Gloucester to be extensively tailored around an individual bathroom interior.

Discover more about our brassware & painted finishes

This product is offered with the option of a painted exterior. Painted finishes from Rutland London are applied via aerospace technology designed to ensure longevity and durability within the rigorous bathroom environment.

Rutland London understands that many of our clients have bespoke requirements for painted finishes and welcomes requests from popular paint brands including Farrow & Ball, Little Greene, Edward Bulmer and many others.

This product is listed on our website with brassware elements featured in a Polished (Unlacquered) Brass finish. However, Rutland London understands that many of our clients have requirements for other finishes and we will be delighted to assist and support you with these requirements.

Popular brassware finishes from Rutland London include variations of Brass, Bronze, Nickel, Copper & Gold.

It should be noted that many brassware finishes from Rutland London are "living" finishes which will age and patina. The rate and extent of this patination will depend on the environment in which the product is installed and should be expected. Patination of a product finish is not considered a warranty issue. If you seek further clarification of the appearance and behaviour of a finish we recommend purchasing a sample from Rutland London.

For clients wishing to avoid the ageing and patination of brassware elements, Rutland London can also offer our exclusive Protect+ coating and finishes.

Should you require a quotation for this product in a different finish or require further advice from our colleagues regarding finishes, we encourage you to email sales@rutlandlondon.ae so that we may assist you further.

MARBLE

Limitless options

It should be noted that the marble configuration offered on our website is for a marble top with a pencil edge, 200mm (H) upstand and 3no. tapholes per basin. All aspects of the marble top are available to be tailored to your project demands and we would therefore encourage you to contact Rutland London with your specific project requirements prior to ordering.

Please note: the pictured vanity suite is indicative and may not represent the configuration or specification of vanity suite purchased. For clarification, please contact Rutland London.

Before purchasing any marble product from Rutland London, clients should be aware of the natural tendencies of marble and its resultant limitations. Possible notations include random veining, pattern variances and shading.

Marble loses its shine with wear and is a soft material that easily scratches and can be stained due to its relatively high porosity. To ensure the longevity of our marble, Rutland London recommends the regular application of sealant to all marble surfaces.

Any acidic substances that may come into contact with marble provided by Rutland London will etch and remove the polish of the marble.

If you should have any concerns regarding the viability of marble in your bathroom given the above disclaimer, we would encourage you to contact Rutland London on email sales@rutlandlondon.ae to discuss alternative options.
