Combining the refined appearance of a back to wall toilet with striking Black vitreous china and a beautifully crafted brass flush plate, the Blandford Black Back To Wall WC Suite from Rutland London provides a distinctive solution for luxury bathroom interiors. Its floor mounted WC pan sits neatly against the finished wall while the cistern and associated plumbing remain concealed, creating a clean architectural appearance while retaining the character of traditional English sanitaryware.

Crafted in England from high-quality vitreous china and complemented by carefully manufactured brass componentry, the Blandford reflects the material quality and attention to detail found throughout Rutland London's collection of luxury bathroom fittings. The rich Black ceramic provides a dramatic foundation for the design, creating a particularly effective contrast with the selected handcrafted metal finish.

The defining feature of the Blandford is its back to wall configuration, with the floor mounted WC pan positioned directly against the finished wall or bathroom joinery. Concealing the cistern and associated plumbing creates a significantly cleaner appearance than an exposed-cistern toilet while retaining the reassuring proportions and presence of a traditionally styled floor mounted WC.

The Blandford is configured around a Geberit concealed cistern, providing the concealed flushing system while allowing the functional components to remain discreetly hidden behind the finished bathroom surface. The cistern is operated through a coordinating brass flush plate, transforming an otherwise functional component into an integral part of the bathroom's decorative brassware specification.

Hand-finished to coordinate with other visible metalwork throughout the bathroom, the brass flush plate can create a considered relationship with basin taps, showers, heated towel rails, mirrors and bathroom accessories. Against the Black vitreous china, the selected metal finish becomes particularly prominent, allowing the WC to contribute to rather than simply disappear within the wider interior scheme.

To complement the Black vitreous china, the Blandford can be specified with a selection of handcrafted English toilet seats according to the material palette and aesthetic requirements of the project. Options include English Oak, Mahogany, Cambridge White and Metropolitan Black, providing considerable scope to create either a contrasting or more tonal appearance. Each toilet seat is completed with a substantial brass bar hinge coordinated with the selected brassware finish.

The combination of a floor mounted WC pan, concealed Geberit cistern and decorative brass flush plate makes the Blandford particularly versatile. While many black back to wall toilets adopt an overtly contemporary aesthetic, the Blandford provides the cleaner architectural appearance of a concealed cistern installation while retaining the traditional character and material richness synonymous with Rutland London's wider sanitaryware collection.

For luxury villas, private residences, hotels and interior design projects throughout Dubai, the wider UAE and Middle East, the Blandford provides a striking back to wall WC solution particularly suited to bathrooms incorporating richly veined marble, natural stone, dark timber, bespoke joinery and extensively coordinated brassware.

The Blandford Black Back To Wall WC Suite is available to purchase online with its visible brass components finished in Polished (Unlacquered) Brass. As a living finish, Polished (Unlacquered) Brass will naturally age and develop a distinctive patina over time, with the rate and extent of this change dependent upon the environment in which the WC suite is installed.

The visible brass components of the Blandford can also be produced across Rutland London's portfolio of 40+ handcrafted finishes, spanning Brass, Bronze, Nickel, Copper and Gold. This extensive selection allows the flush plate, toilet seat hinge and wider bathroom brassware to share a consistent and carefully considered finish.
