The Exbury Cast Iron Radiator from Rutland London captures the refined appeal and enduring character of traditional cast iron heating, combining substantial proportions with carefully considered brass detailing. Wall mounted and four columns deep, its generous construction provides a strong architectural presence while retaining the timeless aesthetic associated with luxury cast iron radiators.
Featuring solid brass componentry, the Exbury is finished by hand in Hampshire, England, combining the inherent character of cast iron with refined English craftsmanship. Its substantial proportions make it particularly well suited to larger bathrooms, bedrooms, living spaces, period properties and luxury interior schemes.
The Exbury Cast Iron Radiator can be operated directly from a central heating system or supplied as a standalone electric radiator where conventional pipework or plumbing installation is limited. Please note, however, that this product should only be installed on a closed circuit system and we do not recommend fitting it to a salt-softened water system unless otherwise agreed with your installer. The Exbury cannot be fitted to a domestic hot water system.
All Rutland London cast iron radiators are supplied with a matt finish as standard, applied using a durable aerospace-grade paint coating. Bespoke requests can also be accommodated, including gloss or satin finishes and colours matched or closely coordinated with popular paint brands including Farrow & Ball, Little Greene and Paint & Paper Library.
The Exbury includes two solid brass “RL” wall stays and one solid brass air vent. Brass componentry is supplied in Polished (Unlacquered) Brass as standard, providing a refined contrast against the coloured cast iron radiator. Alternative finishes can be specified from Rutland London's portfolio of 20+ brassware finishes.
Solid brass radiator valves are available separately and can be specified in Rutland London's full portfolio of 20+ luxury finishes, allowing the valves to coordinate with the radiator's brass componentry or wider interior brassware.
Due to the manufacturing process, all cast iron radiators are subject to manufacturing tolerances, which can be approximately 1–2mm per section. Larger configurations may also be supplied in sub-sections for assembly onsite due to weight and size considerations.
As a wall mounted cast iron radiator, the Exbury has significant weight. Care should be taken to ensure that the wall onto which the radiator will be installed is suitable to support its weight prior to purchase. Please contact Rutland London if you require further information regarding the weight of a particular radiator configuration.
For luxury villas, private residences, historic properties, hotels, hospitality projects and high-end interior schemes throughout Dubai and the wider UAE, the Exbury offers a considered combination of substantial cast iron construction, traditional radiator styling and handcrafted English brass detailing.
The Exbury Cast Iron Radiator is available to purchase online in a range of popular paint colours. Should you require an alternative or bespoke colour, size or heating configuration, please contact our colleagues at
